1-Overall Responsibility To manage, organize and contribute to the profitable operation of DHL Cameroon by ensuring that financial accounting systems and internal controls are properly developed and maintained. Also to ensure that financial information, advice and directions are available for management and that the requirements of both Area Office and Country Office are met. 2-Financial Management: • Provide Country Manager and Head of Departments with sound financial information and advice that significantly contributes to overall effectiveness of the business. • Administer the financial and cash affairs of the company so that adverse exposure to interest rates and exchange rates is minimized. 3-MONTHLY FINANCIAL REPORTING: • Analyze and interpret the monthly revenue figures when released so as to provide relevant information to the Country Manager. • Review monthly spread to ensure proper investigations are done before ledger closes to run final reports. Review finding of these investigations. • Review and approve the monthly financial package, checking for accuracy and completeness. Follow up on any unusual matters with staff or managers concerned. • Analyze and interpret the financial package so as to provide relevant information to Country Manager. 4-REFORECASTS AND BUDGETS: • Review re-forecasts and budgets; • Prepare forecasts and budgets for Finance and Management. • Consolidate budgets and review with Country Manager. • Provide all necessary back up information to support budgets, as well as all additional information required by Area Office . • Provide financial information for budget narrative. • Prepare action plan for Finance. • Assist Country Manager in budget presentations.1-Overall Responsibility To manage, organize and contribute to the profitable operation of DHL Cameroon by ensuring that financial accounting systems and internal controls are properly developed and maintained.
